M3TLM Ribbon Transmission Line
The M3tlm Mk2 is the new magnesium coned version of the highly acclaimed M3tl transmission line. The excellent new IPL 5"Magnesium coned driver with its cast chassis and massive shielded magnet assembly is used together with the RT1.3 Ribbon tweeter which has a very linear response and fast transparent sound. The combination of these two units gives an excellent full range speaker with a superbly extended but controlled bass, and a pure,detailed and transparent midrange and treble. There is a naturalness to these Magnesium cones that is quite outstanding and very appealing. The Stunning new M3tlm Ribbon can be used in relatively small rooms but will also perform well in much larger rooms. The M3tlm has a very linear response with, low distortion and excellent phase characteristics.

The bi-wired crossover is 2nd order with superb quality IPL Polypropylene capacitors, (where required), Super power inductors and high power resistors. The total kit includes cabinet flat packed in 18mm MDF and is available pre-veneered in Mahogany (sides and top as grille panel covers whole of the front) or in plain MDF. The cabinet contains 12 panels per speaker (all pre-cut and shaped) and includes: internal baffles and deflectors, shaped grille panel, and stand plinth. IPL transmission lines are damped with profiled acoustic foam and long haired wool and can be easily tuned to individual rooms. Instructions are very comprehensive, photographed step by step, and include details for fine tuning. Plus and total kits now include the superb quality CP4L Gold Bi-wired Crossover panel. The bass inductors are the superb IPL Steel Laminate low resistance inductors which give superior bass quality with these magnesium units.
