IPL S4 KEVLAR Mk8 TRANSMISSION LINE
The S4TL is a full size transmission line using the superb new Hi Vi advanced Kevlar/paper 8" unit with its high sensitivity, smooth response, large shielded magnet system and strong die-cast chassis ) and the superb SEAS H881 27mm textile dome tweeter with Sonotex surround. These two drivers have been engineered to give a very fine speaker with a near textbook response, combining high sensitivity with low distortion and excellent dynamic range. The resulting sound is impressive, with huge scale and excellent treble and midrange detail, competing well with speakers costing in excess of £1500!. The sound is clean detailed ,dynamic and open whilst remaining smooth and natural with an extended but well controlled bass response.
The Bi-wired crossover is 2nd order at 2.8khtz and uses where necessary high quality IPL polyprop. capacitors, Super powered inductors, and high power resistors. The S4tl is a triple folded line using Profiled Acoustic foam and a small quantity of Long Haired Wool for damping the line .The treble and mid outputs are fully adjustable to give the right balance for your system and room. Plus kit now includes Gold Bi-wired terminal crossover panel
